witnesses, litigants, jurors, and attorneys, including threat assessment 
techniques with case studies, investigations and intelligence gathering, off-site
security, courtroom security strategies and active threat/shooter response.

    Option 1-Basic Pocket Stick Operator for Court Officers
    Training on use of a low-profile less-lethal defensive and control tool to subdue
assaultive and resistive subjects in the courtroom and other close-quarters
environments. You will receive your own pocket stick.

   Cancelled  - Option 2-Tactical Medicine
    Focus on lifesaving for massive hemorrhage, Narcan administration &
trauma informed care for crime victims, all key skills for court officers.

Instructors:  Stacey Wickham, R.N./Ohio Health Grant Trauma Ed.

    Option 3-Active Shooter Tactics: Firearms Handling in Crowds
    This course focuses on realistic responses for armed protectors, including
critical decision making in and around crowds during an active threat, 
especially tactical gun handling in a crowded courthouse or courtroom.
Attendees will practice techniques using the provided inert training
handguns and holsters. There will be no live fire in this class - we are doing 
practical exercises with dummy guns.
